The Adventures at the MTC

Once upon a time there were three awesome girls and they all showed up to work wearing the same outfit... I know the story is so amazing you are lost for words. I named this picture "mourning" cause we all happen to be wearing black and we decided we were mourning for our old store that day. At work, we are moving the bookstore to a different store and it has been crazy! If you think its hard to move yourself, try moving a whole store. We reorganized a lot of the inventory and this wall is one of our accomplishments. Needless to say, we girls are very proud of it.

Can we just say... simple pleasures. I found this machine the other day at work and thought it was so funny I had to take a picture. Not entirely sure why they decided to call this thing a ditch witch but it gave me a laugh!

We build these shelves the other day. After working on it for probably about two hours I had to take a picture and show how awesome (Glo and I) are.

So pretty much I have been tweeting about the dirty dash for about a week now and guess what? It finally happened today. Pretty exciting, right? The grand old story is that the dirty dash is on my bucket list and I thought, why not. So today, we started the dash at 11:20 and had a great time getting all muddy! The best outfit was the wedding party where the bride had on an old 80's wedding dress and the groom had a light blue tux. They probably would have won the costume contest if there was one. Ok, so feel the need for a rundown of the race? In a nutshell, we started on a mud hill and then did a combination of obstacle courses with haystacks, wooden posts, and a long, long swamp that seemed to last forever. Needless to say, it was an experience I won't forget!

Oh by the way, there was a point to taking pictures with cupcakes. We're having a cupcake/gamenight/mingle party! I am personally excited about my lemon cupcakes.

Ok, the most exciting news about this week is not these cupcakes. I know the picture is a bit misleading. Basically, I got a new phone and look what great pictures it takes! I have been obsessed with my new phone cause lets face it, it's pretty cool if I say so myself. One of my favorite features about the new phone is the swipe method and camera. I guess the internet is pretty neat. Oh, I almost forgot to tell you the funny story of the week. I went to the bathroom and happened to run into a guy there which I thought was slightly awkward because it was not a family restroom but strictly a ladies restroom. So when I got back I told Gloria about my new found friend and she came up with a song for it. It goes like this, "I have to go to the bathroom and I hope I don't see a man there because that would be awkward". You can imagine in your head the tune but the one she came up with was quite amazing. Ha, ha, well that's all the funny stories I got so... see ya later!

The Beginning of the Blog

So one day I went to class and was just thrilled to find out what our assignment was. We have to make a blog and post on it. So here are my sad attempts at creating a blog that seems a lot easier than it looks. I am not entirely computer savvy so we'll see how well I can figure out how to make this blog work. So for the longest time, I couldn't figure out a name for this blog. My names ranged from Lil Jo,Jo to debbiejo to finally....Debbie-or-ah! I had a friend in my ward who would call me that so I have to give credit to him for this name. I didn't want a generic name so I think I accomplished my goal. One of my biggest pet pives is reading a blog that is boring. To avoid this, I will tell you all the exciting stories that happen to me at work and school. I know you are just jumping for excitement. If I say so myself, this blog is going to be pretty witty and exciting so keep on reading!
