So pretty much I have been tweeting about the dirty dash for about a week now and guess what? It finally happened today. Pretty exciting, right? The grand old story is that the dirty dash is on my bucket list and I thought, why not. So today, we started the dash at 11:20 and had a great time getting all muddy! The best outfit was the wedding party where the bride had on an old 80's wedding dress and the groom had a light blue tux. They probably would have won the costume contest if there was one. Ok, so feel the need for a rundown of the race? In a nutshell, we started on a mud hill and then did a combination of obstacle courses with haystacks, wooden posts, and a long, long swamp that seemed to last forever. Needless to say, it was an experience I won't forget!
